Stakeholder Groups
Last updated: March 1, 2026
The Stakeholder Groups page lets you view, create, and manage groups in the organization. You can access this through the left navigation bar on the Tigerhall web app.
Dynamic Groups allow you to create groups in Tigerhall based on a preset criterion. These groups will differ from the manual groups as they will constantly update based on the criteria provided to create the group.
Please note that to make full use of dynamic groups, you will need to have Directory Sync in place with Tigerhall.
Why should I create groups on Tigerhall?
Groups help you target your communication and content to specific audiences. This helps you provide a personalized experience to each set of users in your company based on their geography, team, hierarchy, or needs.
What are the different types of groups available on Tigerhall?
There are four different types of groups on Tigerhall:
System Groups
Includes all users in the organization. This group type is created by default and is not editable.
Directory Sync Groups
Any groups maintained in the organization’s directory will be onboarded into Tigerhall. This group type is created by default and is not editable.
Dynamic Groups
A dynamic group is created using a set of criteria. All users in the org who match the criteria will be added and those who don’t will be removed. For eg: if you add all the users belonging to the US region to a group and 10 users move to APAC, these 10 users will automatically be removed from the group as they do not match the set criteria.
Static Groups
A static group is a group created by manually adding users to the group. This list can be changed by manually adding or removing users to the group.
What is a dynamic group?
A dynamic group is a group created based on a set of criteria. This group will automatically refresh the user list based on any users who meet/don’t meet the set criteria. For eg, you can create a group of all users who report to John and are in the US who joined after 1 Apr 2024. This group can then be used for actions and content restrictions.

How do I ensure I have the latest data in the dynamic group?
Admins have the ability to set the refresh cycle based on their needs. We provide the following options:
Hourly
Every Six Hours
Daily
Weekly on Monday
Weekly on Tuesday
Weekly on Wednesday
Weekly on Thursday
Weekly on Friday
Weekly on Saturday
Weekly on Sunday
Monthly
We have placed a refresh button on the group pages to allow admins to manually refresh a group to ensure you have the latest data. Further, we have also listed the last refresh date and time, along with the upcoming refresh date and time-based on the refresh cycle chosen by the admin.
What are group descriptions? Where are they used?
Add group descriptions to explain who the users in each group are. These descriptions help AI in the Creator Studio curate content for specific audiences. Make sure your description clearly covers the group’s role, department, function, or project to guide accurate content creation.
What are the different actions I can take for groups?
We provide the following tools to manage groups:
Delete Group
You can delete a group by selection on the Stakeholder Groups page or by clicking the archive icon inside the Group’s detail page.
Archive Groups
You can archive a group by selection on the Stakeholder Groups page or by clicking the archive icon inside the Group’s detail page.
Export Group data
You can choose to export data from all the groups in the organization (on the Stakeholder Groups page) or users who belong to a group (on the Group Detail page).
Deleting groups associated with an active action will result in breaking the action. Refrain from deleting groups but when you have to proceed with caution. Reach out to our support team at support@tigerhall.com when you aren’t sure.
How can I add/remove user(s) from a static group?
To add/remove user(s) from a static group, follow the steps below:
Go to the static group’s detail page
Click on “Add Users” to add users - here you can choose to add them by uploading a CSV or through manual selection
To remove users simply select the users and click the “Remove from Group” icon.
In the case of adding users to a group, the user(s) must exist in the organization prior to adding them.
How can I nudge users inside a group?
What does the nudge user function do? Nudging a user sends them an email reminder to log in to their Tigerhall account. This is useful during the first few weeks of onboarding as you are getting users to log in to their accounts.
To nudge users inside a group,
Go to the group’s detail page
Here you have two options:
You can choose to individually nudge the users by clicking the “Nudge” button on that user’s row
You can click “Nudge Them” to nudge all the users in one click.
What are the criteria that I have available to set up dynamic groups?
Please note that the available criteria are highly dependent on the data integration done with Tigerhall using HRIS, ERP, or Excel files. The commonly available criteria used to create dynamic groups are as follows:

No, there is no limit, but we recommend streamlining it for easy use.
Can we create subgroups in Tigerhall?
Even though you can create as many groups under an Org as you deem fit, you cannot create subgroups on Tigerhall.
