Topic Level Content Creators - they can only stream to the topics they have access to
What are Livestreams?
Livestreams are a tool that enables live interactions on the platform. Users who tune into a livestream can ask questions in the chat and use threads and reactions to engage in deeper conversations.
All livestreams are recorded and saved in your company content. Users can access the recording along with chat replays.
Why should I use Livestreams?
Some uses for livestreams include hosting knowledge-sharing or guest speaker sessions. They’re a great way of getting direct access to your team to discuss change and gather feedback across teams.
How do I create experiences for Livestreams?
For any Livestreams you host in your company, it is important to create experience cards for the same. This allows users to find the event, book their spot, and add it to their calendars. Make sure you have done this step at least a month before the event to provide your team with enough time to discover the event.
Click here to learn about creating experience cards for livestreams. Please note, the user who is added first in the guest speakers list is the name that will be displayed in the livestream player when live.
What are the various roles in Livestreams?
Guest Speakers are the speakers added to the experience card to speak in the livestream. They can:
Start the stream
End the stream
Add people into the stream once backstage/live
Remove people from the stream
Change Livestream details - title and groups you are streaming to
You can only add up to 6 speakers in a livestream.
What are the Livestream Details?
Livestream details include the following:
Livestream Title
Guest Speakers - you can choose from anyone in the organization as a speaker for your livestream.
Topics - These decide the groups that will be able to access the livestream. Similar to other content on Tigerhall, you can choose to add additional groups or omit certain groups as well.
